Yesterday, Mikaela was rushing to get ready for rehearsal. We got there early (whew!) but we forgot to bring her extra clothes so we had to go home and change before we can go out for dinner.
She went inside and being SLOW! I told her..
Me: Hurry, Ya know Mama doesn't like waiting in the car.
Mikaela : I know.. .I know...
Me: Come on... Ya know - Mama sounds like a DAD out there...
Mikaela: Mama is not DAD! Mama is a protective mama!! Like always!!
Me: not like DAD
Mikaela: I do not have DAD all I have is you and overprotective mama!!
Me: OK.. OK.. Let's go!
I told Hollie what had happened.... She laughed - that right protective mama better than being label as DAD!
