Yesterday, there was a big party for MMKODA (Maryland Kids of the Deaf Adults)! M and K had a wonderful time!! They have a lot of activites for kids. It was great to see kids playing and laughing a lot together. Some of them that our kids havent seen for a while!
M and K were thrilled to see Santa again! They sat on Santa's lap. Santa asked M what would she likes to have for chirstmas. It was totally unexpected! She said to Santa in sign - "I already told you before!" H had to signed to Santa what M wanted for Christmas without having M seeing her . Then Santa said - oh thats right - you are Mikaela and you want horses and dragons. M was surprised and said - YOU REMEMBERED! Santa continued talked - Kyron wants trains and cars. M nodded and said - YES! She was so happy! *whew!*

H and I now have to find a campground for MMKODA Spring Camping Wknd. We know one place - H is going to check with them and find which wknd would be the best. Can't wait!!!

That is SO AWESOME that Santa knew sign language :) Mikaela is a smart little cookie....OF COURSE she already told Santa what she wanted.

That sounds like a fun party. You guys got it good being able to communicate with Santa through sign. That would have been a close one if not!
